This microlot was harvested on January 3, 2026. The cherries were depulped and underwent 96 hours of low-temperature fermentation before being slowly dried on raised beds for 11 days.
Hacienda La Esmeralda consists of three farms: Cañas Verdes, Jaramillo, and El Velo. Its Geisha coffees are classified into four tiers: Auction, Black Label, Red Label, and Green Label.
Cañas Verdes is further divided into several individual plots, including Lino, Coronado, Montaña, Trapiche, and León. To ensure full traceability, coffees harvested from each plot are named after their respective plot, allowing every lot to clearly express its unique sense of terroir.
