ABOUT ESTATE
Hacienda La Emeralda, located in Boquete, Panama, is the one of the famous coffee farms of the world. Since winning the Best of Panama in 2004 with its Gesha and breaking auction records, the estate has not only brought Gesha to the world stage but has also flourished under the stewardship of the Peterson family.
This batch of washed Ethiopian Landrace coffee was harvested on March, 2025, from the Accessions plot at El Velo. After harvesting, the cherries were depulped and fermented for 120 hours in a low temperature room. The coffee was then slowly dried on raised beds for 20 days.
